LAREDO, TX — October 31, 2026 — What started as a fun way to celebrate Halloween quickly turned into something much bigger! The Law Office of Sergio Lozano, PLLC recently wrapped up its 2026 Annual Halloween Costume Contest, and the response from the Laredo community made this year's celebration one to remember.

Families and pet owners from across Laredo joined the excitement, submitting photographs of their little ones and furry companions dressed in everything from beloved movie characters and superheroes to hilarious, spooky, and wonderfully imaginative costumes.

As the entries continued to arrive, one thing became clear: Laredo knows how to celebrate Halloween!

A Community Full of Creativity and Halloween Spirit

Throughout the submission period, our team had the pleasure of seeing an incredible variety of costumes. Every new entry brought something different, and we found ourselves looking forward to seeing what creative ideas would appear next.

From a miniature Buc-ee's Store and a spooky Vampire Cat to familiar favorites like Buzz Lightyear, Michael Jackson, and KISS, the imagination behind these costumes was truly impressive.

But the fun didn't stop with the submissions.

Once public voting opened on our website, the competition took on a life of its own! Families, friends, and supporters joined in, sharing their favorite entries and encouraging others to show their support.

The excitement continued throughout the voting period as contestants received hearts from visitors cheering them on.

What made this competition particularly special wasn't simply who received the most votes. It was seeing how much enthusiasm and encouragement our community brought to the event.

After several exciting days of public voting, the results were officially announced on Friday, October 30.

Congratulations to all four winners! Each winning costume brought its own creativity and personality to the competition, earning the support of voters throughout our community.

We also want to recognize every child, parent, and pet owner who participated. The effort and imagination that went into these costumes made this contest such a pleasure to host.

The Best Part? Meeting Our Winners!

While watching the competition unfold online was exciting, one of our favorite moments came when we had the opportunity to meet our winners in person.

On October 30, our office welcomed the winners and their families as they stopped by to collect their Halloween prizes.

Seeing their smiles, sharing in their excitement, and having the opportunity to congratulate them personally was a wonderful way to bring the competition to a close.

For our team, these moments are what make community events so rewarding.

Behind every costume was a family, a creative idea, and someone excited to be part of something fun. Meeting the people who brought those costumes to life reminded us why we enjoy hosting events like this.

The celebration also included our Halloween candy bag giveaway, allowing us to share a few additional treats with members of the Laredo community.
